About G&G

What does G&G Engineers & Consultant do?
We are a multidisciplinary geoscience and engineering firm with offices in Karachi and Tashkent. We combine geology, geophysics, drilling, laboratory testing, topographic and geodetic survey, GIS and remote sensing into integrated packages for water resources, mines & minerals, and oil & gas clients.
Which licences and certifications do you hold?
  • Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) Consultant License No. 2439 and Construction License No. 9387
  • ISO 9001:2015 (Quality), ISO 14001:2015 (Environment) and ISO 45001:2018 (Health and Safety)
  • Licensed geotechnical laboratory (License No. 29)
Where have you worked?
Our team has experience across Pakistan, Central Asia, the Middle East and Africa. In Pakistan our work includes pipeline and highway surveys, power plant monitoring, water supply projects, urban master planning and cadastral mapping.
Do you work with international clients?
Yes. We have offices in Pakistan and Uzbekistan, and some of our experts speak Uzbek and Russian and can work with Soviet-era geological data, which helps on projects in Central Asia.

Services

Which industries do you serve?
  • Water resources: groundwater exploration, hydrogeological surveys, tube wells, salinity and catchment studies
  • Mines & minerals: exploration, geophysics, drilling, resource estimation and mine planning
  • Oil & gas: seismic interpretation, geomodeling, reservoir engineering and pipeline surveys
  • GIS & remote sensing: a cross-cutting service used across all three
How deep can you drill a water well?
Our truck-mounted rigs install tube wells from 5 to 20 inches in diameter and up to 1,500 ft deep. We also drill test and production wells and rehabilitate existing ones.
Do you prepare NI 43-101 and SPE-PRMS reports?
Yes. We support NI 43-101 compliant resource reporting for mineral projects and SPE-PRMS compliant reserves estimation (1P/2P/3P) for oil and gas.
Can you digitize old maps and logs?
Yes. We digitize and georeference legacy maps and well logs, including Soviet-era and Russian-language archives, and clean and standardize the data for modern use.
Do you offer training?
Training is built into our projects for knowledge transfer. We also offer programs such as Enterprise GIS Deployment, Seismic Interpretation, Groundwater Exploration, SPE-PRMS Reserves, Mining 101 and Magmatic-Hydrothermal Systems.

Equipment & Laboratory

What equipment do you use for field work?
  • Truck-mounted drilling rigs for tube wells, exploration and geotechnical boreholes
  • SuperSting and ABEM resistivity units for subsurface imaging
  • DGPS and total station equipment for survey control
  • A licensed geotechnical laboratory for soil and rock testing
Which laboratory tests do you perform?
Direct shear, triaxial, consolidation, CBR, point load, permeability, grain size, Atterberg limits, soil salinity, pH and chemical analysis.
